To adjust the brightness of the display on your Kindle Gen11 Paperwhite, follow these steps:
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu.
2. Tap the "Brightness" icon, which looks like a sun.
3. Drag the slider to the left to decrease the brightness or to the right to increase it.
4. Release your finger when you have reached your desired brightness level.
Note: The Kindle Gen11 Paperwhite has an adaptive front light that automatically adjusts the brightness based on the ambient lighting conditions. However, you can manually override this setting by following the steps mentioned above.
