To install the RCM 201-ROGO Differential Current Monitoring Device, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have read and understood the usage information provided in the instruction manual.
2. Make sure that the installation instructions match your device.
3. Mount the measurement device in switch cabinets or small distributor cabinets according to DIN 43880 on a 35 mm DIN rail.
- Hang the device with the DIN rail device on the top of the DIN rail.
- Press the device in the lower section to the DIN rail until it snaps in.
4. Connect the device to the power supply. The supply voltage level can be found on the rating plate or in the technical data.
- Ground the device at the ground wire connection if available.
- Ensure that the power pack is sized sufficiently.
- Ground the supply voltage mass (-24 V).
5. Connect the Rogowski coil to the monitoring device.
- Open the bayonet lock on the current sensor with a left-hand turn.
- Install the coil wire around the conductor to be measured.
- Close the bayonet lock with a right-hand turn until the end of the measuring coil snaps in with an audible click.
- Connect the signal line of the Rogowski coil to the monitoring device according to the connection diagram.
6. Once the device is connected to the power supply, all LEDs will briefly light up one by one, indicating an initialization process. The device is ready for operation when the red LED "ERROR" goes out.
7. If necessary, you can program the measuring range and test the outputs using the "PROG" key.
8. For further programming and configuration options, you can use the Modbus protocol.
