To connect a microphone to the Ecler SAM612T Installation Analogue Mixer, you have two options.
Option 1: Use the microphone input on the back panel. The mixer has six mixing channels with xxxx terminal strips for microphone inputs. The microphone input accepts a nominal input level from -50dBV to -20dBV. You can adjust the microphone sensitivity on the back panel. Make sure to use low impedance (200 to 600 ohms) and monophonic microphones.
Option 2: Use the microphone input on the front panel. There is a separate microphone input on the front panel for channel 1. This input is connected in parallel with the microphone input on the back panel.
Please refer to the wiring diagram in the manual for the correct connection of microphones. If you are using condenser microphones, you can individually switch on the phantom power supply for each microphone by adjusting the internal jumpers. However, please note that the phantom power supply is disabled by default.
It is important to follow the instructions in the manual and ensure that the microphone is connected properly to the appropriate input on the mixer to achieve optimal performance.
