To install the RIGHT WEIGH 201-EBT-11B Exterior Digital Scale for Straight Trucks, follow these steps:
1. Start by ensuring that you have all the necessary components included in the package: one gauge and mounting bracket (201-217-11) and one epoxy strain sensor installation kit (221-SK).
2. Set the gauge to detect 1 Spring Sensor. Refer to the Air/Spring Suspension Gauge manual for detailed instructions on how to configure the sensor.
3. Determine the appropriate sensor location. For the strain sensor, it should be placed on the top and center of the steer axle. Consult the 221-SK manual for specific instructions on how to install the sensor. The air sensor should be connected directly to an airbag on the drive axle group.
4. Set the gauge to Spring Average Air Average (SA AA) mode. This mode separates the weight into the front axle group (steer axle) and the back axle group (drive). For detailed instructions on how to set the mode, refer to the Air/Spring Suspension Gauge manual.
