To connect the Ecler HZA4-120F Flexi-Power Amplifier to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the amplifier is placed in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and moisture.
2. Connect the mains power cord to the mains socket on the rear panel of the amplifier.
3. Ensure that the amplifier is properly grounded by connecting the earth wire to a suitable earth connection.
4. Connect your audio sources to the balanced and line level analog signal inputs on the rear panel of the amplifier using the provided xxxx terminal blocks. The wiring should be as follows: HOT or direct signal to Pin +, COLD or inverted signal to Pin -, and GROUND to Pin ⊥. If using unbalanced connection, short-circuit Pin ⊥ to Pin -.
5. Connect your speakers to the output terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier using the provided xxxx terminal blocks. Ensure that the relative polarity for outputs is respected (0 and 100 on each output connector).
6. If you want to link adjacent channels using the FLEXIPOWER function, use the MERGE switches on the rear panel. When the switch is in the lower position (MERGE), the two channels will be linked and their individual power will be added. Make sure not to manipulate the MERGE switches when the amplifier is switched on.
7. If you want to remotely control the volume of each amplifier channel, connect compatible remote control devices to the remote control ports on the rear panel using the provided xxxx terminal blocks. The maximum level of each channel that can be reached by the remote attenuator is determined by the position of its front xxxx .
8. Once all connections are made, turn on the amplifier using the POWER switch on the front panel. The STBY indicator will illuminate, indicating that the amplifier is in standby mode. When an input signal is detected, the amplifier will switch back to normal operating mode.
