To calibrate the Right Weigh 310-M3 Series Onboard Load Scale, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your vehicle is fully loaded. For best results, calibrate with a loaded weight within 1500lbs or 750kgs of your typical axle group weight. Do not calibrate when the vehicle is empty.
2. Using a certified in-ground scale, obtain a loaded weight for the axle group attached to the gauge.
3. Park your vehicle on a level surface. Shift the transmission to neutral and set the parking brakes. Chock the wheels to prevent unexpected vehicle movement.
4. Release the parking brakes.
5. Make sure the Height Control Valves (HCVs) have fully inflated the airbags. If needed, briefly dump the air from the suspension and allow the HCVs to refill the system.
6. Pull the red push/pull valve on the gauge so that it is in the fully open position.
7. Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the calibration xxxx on the dial face until the gauge matches the certified axle group weight obtained from the in-ground scale.
Once calibrated, the Right Weigh 310-M3 Series Onboard Load Scale will provide accurate weight readings for your axle group.
