To install the allen + roth LBX8002AX-01 Flushmount Ceiling Fixture, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off the power and remove the existing fixture.
2. Tighten the long mounting screws (B) 2 full turns into the mounting holes in the mounting strip (A). These will be fully tightened later.
3. Attach the mounting strip (A) to the outlet box using the two short mounting screws (AA).
4. Feed the wires and twist the stripped wire ends together with pliers (not included). Connect black to black, white to white, and ground/bare to ground/bare.
5. Attach BB to the connections with electrical tape (not included).
6. Place the ceiling plate (C) over the outlet box. Allow the heads of the long mounting screws (B) to come out through the large ends of the keyholes. Twist the ceiling plate (C) until the heads of the long mounting screws (B) slide into the narrow end of the keyholes. Tighten the long mounting screws (B) to secure the ceiling plate (C).
7. Install light bulbs (not included). Use 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulbs or CFL/LED equivalents.
8. Insert the glass shade (E) into the ceiling plate (C). Tighten the three thumb screws (D) to secure the glass shade (E).
9. Assembly is complete. Turn the power back on.
