To set up the APRIA Philips Respironics DreamStation 2 CPAP machine, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Supply power: Connect the power cord to the device and plug it into a power outlet. The white light ring on the device will indicate that it has power.
2. Remove the water tank: Press the indent on the lid of the water tank to release it. Slide the tank away from the heater plate. Remove the lid and fill the tank with distilled water up to the fill line.
3. Reattach the water tank: Align the lid hooks with the tank tabs and snap the lid into place. On a flat surface, slide the tank onto the heater plate until it clicks into place.
4. Connect the tubing: Slide the tubing onto the air outlet port of the device. If you are using a heated tube, align the pin connections and push until you hear a click.
5. Start therapy: Press the Therapy button on top of the device to start the therapy. The blue light ring on the device will indicate that therapy is running.
