To install the Amantii TRD-26 Electric Fireplace, follow these steps:
1. Choose a location for the fireplace that is not prone to moisture and is at least 3 feet away from combustible materials such as curtains, furniture, bedding, and paper.
2. Mark the desired location on the floor and prepare a wall with a framed opening to accommodate the size of the fireplace. Leave at least 1/4" around the edge of the appliance.
3. Prior to installation, test the appliance to ensure it is fully operational by plugging the power supply cord into a 120 Volt grounded outlet.
4. If hard-wiring the appliance, a qualified electrician must remove the cord connection and wire the appliance directly to the household wiring. Follow local codes and regulations for electrical wiring.
5. Once the installation location is prepared, remove the trim of the fireplace by unscrewing the 4 screws. Take off the front glass panel and inner side steel panels.
6. Put the trim back onto the appliance and fasten it with screws to ensure a proper fit in the wall opening.
7. Place the fireplace into the wall opening and fix it to the wall by screwing 22 screws on each side.
8. Remove the trim again and xxxx back the inner side steel panels. Put back the front glass panel and xxxx back the trim after finishing the media decoration.
