To clean the filters on the Shark HV322 Rocket Deluxe Pro Corded Stick Vacuum, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
2. Lift the latch on the top of the handheld vacuum to access the Pre-Motor foam and felt filters.
3. Remove the foam and felt filters and hand wash them using warm water and liquid detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
4. Rinse the filters thoroughly and let them air dry completely before reinserting them.
5. Tap loose dirt off the filters between washes as needed.
6. Insert the felt filter first and then place the foam filter on top of it.
7. To access the Post-Motor filter, remove the handle of the vacuum and locate the filter underneath.
8. Remove the Post-Motor filter and hand wash it once a year. Let it air dry completely before reinserting.
9. Once the filters are clean and dry, reassemble the vacuum and it will be ready for use.
