To make a bag using the roll of bag material with the NESCO Deluxe Vacuum Sealer VS-12, follow these steps:
1. Place the sealer on a flat and stable surface and insert the plug into an electrical outlet.
2. Lift the handle and open the lid of the sealer.
3. Place the bag roll into the roll storage compartment.
4. Move the cutter blade to the end of the rack, then lift the cutter rack and pull enough of the bag material from the roll to hold the items you want to vacuum pack, plus an additional 3 inches.
5. Close the cutter rack and press lightly on it while sliding the blade along the rack to cut the bag material.
6. Place one end of the bag material on the sealing strip.
7. Close the top cover of the sealer and press down on the handle until it is fully closed.
8. Press the "Manual Seal" button to start sealing.
9. Wait until the progress display reaches 0, and the unit will automatically turn off and sealing will be completed.
10. Lift the handle, open the top cover, and remove the bag.
