To connect your NETGEAR EX7300 WiFi Mesh Range Extender to your existing WiFi network, you can follow one of two methods outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Connect with the Nighthawk app:
- Download the Nighthawk app on your mobile device.
- Open the WiFi connection manager on your mobile device and connect to the extender network called NETGEAR_EXT.
- Launch the Nighthawk app and follow the prompts to connect your extender to your router's WiFi network.
- After the setup is complete, you can move your extender to a new location.
2. Connect with WPS:
- Press the WPS button on the extender for less than five seconds. The WPS LED will blink.
- Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your router. When the extender connects to the router, the Router Links LED will light up.
- If the Router Link LED lights are green, the connection between your router and extender is good. If it lights up amber or red, try moving the extender closer to the router and repeat the WPS process.
- Once the connection is established, you can move your extender to a new location.
