To clean the toaster, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the toaster is unplugged from the electrical outlet and has completely cooled down.
2. Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or cleaning materials.
3. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling for use or storage.
4. To remove the crumb tray, hold the toaster in an upright position and pull the crumb tray out from the side opposite the toasting controls by sliding it out and away from the toaster bottom.
5. Empty the crumbs over a garbage can or sink.
6. To replace the crumb tray, slide it back into the toaster until it clicks into place.
7. It is recommended to clean the crumb tray regularly.
Note: Never immerse the toaster or plug in water or any other liquid.
