To install the Techkey AC-1750 USB WiFi Adapter, you can follow these steps:
1. Insert the micro CD that comes with the adapter into your computer's CD drive. If your computer does not have a CD drive, you can download the driver from an internet driver link provided by Techkey.
2. Connect the USB WiFi Adapter to an available USB port on your computer. It is recommended to connect it to a USB 3.0 port for optimal performance.
3. Once the adapter is connected, you can open the "REALTEK USB Wireless LAN Utility" on your computer.
4. In the utility, click on "available networks" and select the network signal you want to connect to.
5. Click on the selected network and then click "connect" to establish a connection.
Important Reminder:
- If you are using a desktop computer, make sure to connect the WiFi adapter to the USB ports located behind the computer host for sufficient power.
- If you are using a laptop, it is recommended to turn off the built-in Wi-Fi (if your laptop has an integrated Wi-Fi module) before using the USB WiFi adapter.
