To connect the Veepeak OBDCheck VP01 Mini WiFi OBD-II Scanner Adapter to your phone or tablet, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to a WiFi network. The Veepeak VP01 creates its own WiFi network, so your device needs to be connected to a network for internet access.
2. Plug the Veepeak VP01 into the OBD II port of your vehicle. The OBD II port is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
3. Turn on the ignition of your vehicle. The Veepeak VP01 will power on automatically.
4. On your phone or tablet, go to the WiFi settings and look for available networks. You should see a network named "WiFi_OBDII" or something similar. Select this network to connect to the Veepeak VP01.
5. Once connected, open the OBD app of your choice on your phone or tablet. There are many compatible apps available for download, such as Torque Lite, Car Scanner ELM OBD2, OBD Fusion, and more.
6. In the app, navigate to the settings or connection menu and select the WiFi connection option. Look for the Veepeak VP01 or the WiFi network you connected to in step 4. Select it to establish the connection.
7. Once the connection is established, you should be able to access the diagnostic features and sensor readings provided by the Veepeak VP01 through the app on your phone or tablet.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the connection process, please refer to the instruction manual that came with the Veepeak OBDCheck VP01 Mini WiFi OBD-II Scanner Adapter for troubleshooting steps and additional information.
