The FridaBaby 88 Quick-Read Digital Rectal Thermometer can be used rectally or orally. To use it rectally, follow these steps:
1. Switch on the thermometer.
2. Raise the child's legs and insert the thermometer's stopper.
3. Leave the thermometer inserted until you hear a beep (approximately 10 seconds).
4. Remove the thermometer and check the temperature.
5. Turn off the power and wash the tip in warm, soapy water.
6. Keep the thermometer and other items organized in the provided carry case.
For oral use, place the tip towards the back of your mouth, under your tongue, with your lips closed. Follow the same steps for temperature reading and cleaning as mentioned above.
