To set up the Logitech Series C615 HD Laptop Webcam, follow these steps:
1. Unfold your webcam: Open the webcam and extend it to its full length.
2. Place your webcam: Position the webcam on top of your laptop screen or any flat surface using the flexible clip/base or tripod attachment.
3. Install the software: Insert the included software CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Logitech Webcam Software.
4. Connect your webcam: When prompted by the software installation process, connect the webcam to your computer using the provided USB extension cable.
5. Getting started with video calling: Your webcam comes with Logitech Vid HD software for video calling. Install Logitech Vid HD by following the on-screen instructions during the software installation process.
6. Create an account: Launch Logitech Vid HD and follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
7. Add a friend and make a video call: To make a video call, add a friend by entering their email address when prompted. Once your friend accepts your invitation, you can click on their picture in your contact list to make a call.
