To clean the BLACK+DECKER BDPC912 Bug Zapper, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the unit and allow it to sit for three hours to allow all electricity in the unit to disperse.
2. Access the grid through the open slots in the grill using the included cleaning brush.
3. Gently brush away dead insects on the electric grid so they fall down into the lower tray for removal.
4. Never use water to clean the unit as this can cause damage to the electronics.
5. Return the unit to the hanging position and plug it back in.
It is recommended to clean the electric grid periodically, especially in areas with large insect populations. This will ensure the effective use of the bug zapper.
