To clean the iHealth PT3V1 No Touch Forehead Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Use an alcohol swab or cotton tissue moistened with alcohol (70% Isopropyl) to thoroughly clean the thermometer casing. Gently wipe the surface for about 15 seconds.
2. Allow at least 5 minutes for the thermometer to dry before taking another measurement.
3. If the device is not visually clean after cleaning, repeat the cleaning steps mentioned above.
Note: Ensure that no liquid enters the interior of the device. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, thinners, or benzene for cleaning. Also, do not immerse the device in water or other cleaning liquids.
It is important to keep the probe (temperature sensor) clean as well. Gently swipe the probe using a cotton swab dipped in 70% Isopropyl alcohol. If the probe is broken, please contact customer support for assistance.
