1. Power on the Extender: Plug the extender into an electrical outlet in the same room as your existing Wi-Fi router.
2. Extend Your Wi-Fi Network via Web User Interface:
a. Connect your Wi-Fi device to the extender's Wi-Fi network called "BrosTrend_EXT". Make sure to disable the Mobile Data function on your Wi-Fi device.
b. After connecting to BrosTrend_EXT, open a web browser and enter "re.brostrend.com" or "192.168.0.254" in the address bar. Create a login password for future logins.
c. On the quick setup page, select the Wi-Fi network (SSID) you want to extend and enter its password. Wait for the "Extended Successfully!" page to appear.
3. Relocate the Extender:
a. For optimal performance, plug the extender into an electrical outlet halfway between your Wi-Fi router and the Wi-Fi dead zone.
b. Wait until the Signal LED turns on. A solid blue LED indicates the best connection between the extender and your Wi-Fi router.
c. Connect your Wi-Fi devices to the extended networks, which have the same network name as your existing network but with suffixes of "_EXT" or "_SGEXT". The Wi-Fi password is the same as your existing Wi-Fi network.
4. Set Up to Work as Ethernet to Wi-Fi Adapter:
a. Connect a wired device (e.g., smart TV, game console, printer) to Wi-Fi by using an Ethernet cable to connect the Ethernet port of the extender to the Ethernet port of your device.
b. Configure the IP Address and DNS server address of the wired device as "AUTO OBTAIN".
