To connect the LAYEN BS-1 Bluetooth Adapter Audio Receiver to your Bose SoundDock, follow these steps:
1. Set the docking station on and connect it firmly to the 30-pin connection.
2. The blue light on the BS-1 will blink on and off, and the device will emit a sound.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on your device that you want to connect to the BS-1.
4. While your device is searching for Bluetooth devices, keep pressing the play/pause button on the side of the BS-1. Your device will then display "BS-1"; choose it to pair.
5. During the pairing process, keep the BS-1 and your Bluetooth device within 1 meter of each other. Once paired, you can space them up to 10 meters apart.
6. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
7. If your device asks you to manually connect, choose "yes".
8. A sound and a steady blue LED light on the BS-1 indicate a successful pairing.
9. Give it up to a minute for the pairing process to complete, as it may vary depending on the device being used.
10. Once paired, you can wirelessly stream your music. Make sure the volume on both the docking station and your device is turned up.
