To install the BUSHRANGER NIGHT HAWK Dual Output Driving Light Wiring Loom, please follow the steps outlined in the owner's manual:
1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery to prevent short circuits.
2. Lay out the wiring loom in the engine bay and find a suitable spot to mount the relay/s. Refer to the relay mounting note in the manual.
3. Disconnect the mouse switch from the switch wiring at the 3 x bullet connectors. Feed the bullet connectors of the red, white, and black switch wires through an existing grommet in the vehicle's firewall and pull the wires through into the cabin.
4. Reconnect the bullet connectors of the mouse switch and switch wiring, and secure the switch to a convenient place on the dashboard using the supplied double-sided tape.
5. Move to the engine bay and route the white quick connect plug towards the back of the vehicle's headlight for high beam signal pickup. Connect this white plug to a suitable Night Hawk High Beam adaptor (sold separately). If the high beam adaptor is not available, cut off the white plug and connect the red and black wires into the vehicle as instructed in the manual for positively or negatively switched vehicles.
6. Route the Deutsch power plugs towards the front of the vehicle and connect them to the driving lights.
7. Route the yellow power wire/s and black earth wires towards the battery. Connect the yellow wire/s to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black earth wires to the negative (-) terminal of the battery or to the vehicle's chassis earth point.
8. Secure all wires to existing vehicle wiring looms using the supplied cable ties and ensure that the wires are kept away from hot surfaces and moving parts.
9. After installation, check all connections and then reconnect the negative (-) cable to the battery.
Please note that it is recommended to have the wiring loom fitted by a qualified automotive electrician.
