To attach the anti-splintering footplate insert on the Metabo STE 140 750W Industrial Jig Saw, follow these steps:
1. Turn the machine over so that the footplate faces upwards.
2. Insert the anti-splintering footplate from the front, ensuring that the smooth side of the footplate faces upwards.
3. Make sure that the slot on the footplate is facing towards the rear (towards the mains cable).
4. If you are working with the protective plate attached, fit the anti-splintering footplate insert in the protective plate.
Please refer to Figure A in the manual for a visual representation of the attachment process.
Note: Before attaching the anti-splintering footplate insert, make sure to remove the saw blade to avoid any risk of injury.
