To use the LECTRO VL-FD16GB USB flash drive, follow these steps:
1. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port on your computer.
2. Once connected, your computer will recognize the USB flash drive as a removable disk.
3. Copy the files (videos, music, documents, etc.) you want to transfer to the USB flash drive.
4. If it's your first time using the USB flash drive, the system will prompt you to download the Y-DISK app. If you ignore the prompt, you can download the Y-DISK app from the App Store.
5. To download the Y-DISK app, open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for "Y-DISK," and download the software.
6. After successfully downloading the Y-DISK app, insert the USB flash drive into your device.
7. Open the Y-DISK app, and you will see its function interface.
8. To encrypt files, click on the management icon in the USB drive directory, select and long-press the documents, click the lock icon, and set a password. The system will create an encrypted folder that requires a password to open. You can change the password and enable touch ID verification from the "Setting-Encryption options" menu.
9. The Y-DISK app allows you to copy files between the USB flash drive and your Apple device. Click on the disk icon to see the contents of the USB flash drive (photos, videos, music, documents) and choose what you want to copy to your Apple device. Click on the local icon to see the contents of your Apple device and choose what you want to copy to the USB flash drive.
10. The file explorer feature allows you to check the videos on your Apple device and copy them to the USB flash drive.
11. The backup feature allows you to backup and restore your phone contacts and photos.
12. The settings menu provides information about the total capacity and remaining available capacity of the USB flash drive and allows you to format the disk if needed.
13. Lastly, the camera feature allows you to operate the camera and save photos directly to the USB flash drive.
