1. Before starting the installation, make sure to read the instructions thoroughly and gather all the necessary tools mentioned in the manual, including a 12pt socket set, torque wrench, thread chaser (M12 x 1.5 and M8 x 1.25), and assembly lube.
2. Clean and inspect all the included parts (head studs, nuts, washers, and head bolts) to ensure they are free of shipping damage and defects.
3. Clean all the threads in the engine block. It is recommended to use a thread chaser to ensure the threads are completely clean.
4. Lubricate the threads of the head studs and install them into the block. xxxx them in hand tight, ensuring they are all the same length. If one stud appears taller, remove it, clean the block threads, and reinstall.
5. Install the head gaskets and cylinder heads, checking for any misalignment.

7. Lubricate the mating face and threads of the head stud nuts with assembly lube. Install the nuts onto the head studs, tightening them hand tight.

a. First round: Torque the nuts to 40 ft lbs (positions 1-18).
b. Repeat the sequence for the second round, torquing the nuts to 80 ft lbs (positions 1-18).
c. Followed by the third round, torquing the nuts to 125 ft lbs (positions 1-18).
9. Check that the amount of head stud threads showing above the head stud nuts is approximately the same. If one appears to have more thread showing, the stud may not be fully inserted into the head.
10. Lubricate the mating face (bottom of the head) and threads of the upper row 8mm bolts with assembly lube. Install them following the torque sequence provided in the manual in a 2-step process, going from inward-out:
a. First round: Torque the bolts to 10 ft lbs.
b. Followed by the second round, torquing the bolts to 25 ft lbs.
