To connect the VTech VM901-1W Wi-Fi 1080p Pan & Tilt Video Monitor to your home Wi-Fi network, please follow these steps:
1. Power on the baby unit by connecting the power adapter to the baby unit and a power supply. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the left to power on the baby unit.
2. Install the parent unit battery by following the instructions in the user guide.
3. Raise the parent unit antenna for better reception.
4. Charge the parent unit battery before use by connecting it to AC power. The parent unit is fully charged after 4 hours of continuous charging.
5. Power on the parent unit by pressing and holding the POWER button until the VTech logo appears on the screen.
6. Use the menu on the parent unit to navigate to "Network settings" and select "Configure Wi-Fi".
7. Choose your preferred and secured 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with good signal strength from the available networks.
8. Enter the Wi-Fi network password when prompted.
9. Wait for the parent unit to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you will see the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator on the parent unit's screen.
10. If you want to stream live video remotely with your mobile device, download and install the MyVTech Baby 1080p mobile app from the App Store or Google Play store.
11. Follow the instructions in the mobile app to set up and pair your baby unit to the mobile app.
