To change the batteries in the UEi C161 Residential Combustion Analyzer, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the analyzer and remove the protective rubber boot.
2. Locate the battery compartment under the protective boot.
3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Insert 3 "AA" NiMH rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
5. Replace the battery cover and the protective rubber boot.
It is important to use only NiMH rechargeable batteries in the analyzer. Do not use any other types of batteries as it may void the warranty.
