When using the lights outdoors, it is important to connect them to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If a GFCI outlet is not available, it is recommended to contact a qualified electrician for proper installation. Additionally, make sure not to place the lights near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat. Avoid securing the wiring with staples or nails, and do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
