To set up the Wansview W4 Outdoor Security Camera, please follow the steps below:
1. Power on the camera: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided power adapter. Make sure the camera is getting power by checking if the LED indicator lights up.
2. Connect the camera to your router: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the camera to your router. Ensure that the router is connected to the internet.
3. Download the Wansview app: Search for "Wansview" in the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and install the Wansview app on your smartphone or tablet.
4. Add the camera to the app: Open the Wansview app and sign up for an account if you don't have one. Tap the "+" icon to add a new camera. Select "Add a camera via wired connection" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
5. Configure camera settings: Once the camera is successfully added to the app, you can customize various settings such as motion detection, video recording, and notifications. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on configuring these settings.
6. Mount the camera: Choose a suitable location for mounting the camera outdoors. Ensure it has a clear view of the area you want to monitor. Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to securely attach the camera to a wall or other surface.
7. Adjust camera angle: After mounting, adjust the camera angle to achieve the desired field of view. The camera's angle can be adjusted manually by loosening the screws on the bracket and rotating the camera.
8. Test the camera: Once everything is set up, you can test the camera by accessing the live view through the Wansview app. Make sure the camera is capturing the desired area and the video feed is clear.
