To turn on the backlit function on the Arteck HB216 Ultra-Slim Portable Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard, you need to press the "Lighting ON/OFF" key. Press it once to turn on the light, press it again to increase the brightness, and press it a third time to turn off the lighting. Additionally, you can press the "Fn" key and the hot key together to change the backlit colors. Please note that the backlit won't work until the keyboard is paired with your tablet or device. If the battery is less than 20%, the backlit will be turned off.
