To install the CHORTAU B-T19 1080P FHD Dash Cam in your car, follow these steps:
1. Mount the dash cam: Use the included suction cup and holder to mount the dash cam on your car's windshield. Ensure that it is securely attached and positioned for optimal recording.
2. Power connection: Connect the car charger to the dash cam and plug it into your car's cigarette lighter port. The dash cam will automatically turn on and start recording when you start the engine.
3. Insert SD card: Insert a microSD card (up to 32GB, not included) into the card slot of the dash cam. We recommend using a class 10 or higher SD card from brands like Samsung or Sandisk. Format the SD card on your computer and in the dash cam before recording.
4. Adjust settings: Use the MENU button on the dash cam to navigate through the settings menu. You can adjust options such as loop recording duration, language, and G-sensor sensitivity.
5. Start recording: Once the dash cam is powered on and the SD card is inserted, it will start recording automatically. The recorded videos will be saved in a loop, overwriting the oldest footage when the SD card is full.
Note: The dash cam has a built-in Li-ion battery, but it is only used for saving emergency files and settings. For continuous operation, the dash cam requires external power from your car.
