To adjust the position of the mounting screws on the Hunter 19971, 19972 Chevron lighting fixture, follow these steps:
1. Remove the cap nuts (H) from the mounting screws (C).
2. Place the mounting plate (A) over the junction box, ensuring that the mounting screws (C) and nuts (L) extend out away from the wall.
3. Adjust the position of the mounting screws (C) so that they can be exposed 5-6 mm after passing through the backplate (E) to properly fit the cap nuts.
4. You can adjust the mounting screws (C) by loosening the nuts (L) and loosening or tightening the mounting screws (C).
5. Once you have determined the ideal position of the mounting screws (C), tighten the nuts (L) on the front of the mounting plate to secure the mounting screws (C) in place.
