To properly ignite and use the Livoo DOC283 KAMADO Ceramic Barbecue, please follow these steps:
1. Position the barbecue on a stable and level surface.
2. Place a single layer of charcoal in the bowl, ensuring that the charcoal rack is positioned correctly.
3. Do not overfill the barbecue with fuel. It should not be filled to more than 50% of its capacity.
4. Use solid fire starters to ignite the charcoal. Do not use liquid firelighters or fire lighting gel.
5. Wear protective gloves and open the vents (if applicable) to allow air to flow in and accelerate combustion.
6. The barbecue must be heated up and the fuel kept glowing for at least 30 minutes before the first cooking.
7. Wait for a layer of ash to cover the fuel before starting to cook.
8. When reloading the barbecue, wear suitable protective gloves, remove all food from the cooking grate, and reload the pan with the recommended fuels. Do not add firelighters.
9. Never grill your food in the flames.
10. Make sure that the fire starters are completely burned out before you start cooking your food.
11. Follow the low temperature cooking guide, smoking guide, or high temperature cooking guide depending on your desired cooking method.
12. Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot ceramics or cooking surfaces.
13. After each use, allow the barbecue, ashes, and accessories to cool completely before cleaning and storing.
14. Clean the appliance and its accessories after each use to avoid the accumulation of grease.
15. Store the appliance in a dry and sheltered place.
