To switch between the forehead and ear mode on the Alcedo AE174 Forehead and Ear Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the thermometer is turned on and in standby mode.
2. Press the mode button on the thermometer to cycle through the different measurement modes.
3. The first mode is the adult forehead mode, indicated by an icon of a person's forehead.
4. Press the mode button again to switch to the child's forehead mode, indicated by an icon of a child's forehead.
5. Press the mode button once more to switch to the ear mode, indicated by an icon of an ear.
6. Press the mode button again to switch to the object mode, indicated by an icon of an object.
7. Repeat the process to switch back to the desired mode.
