Cleaning your Cuisinart TOB-40N Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler is easy. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Always allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Unplug the oven from the electrical outlet.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the finish. Instead, wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. If needed, you can apply a mild liquid soap solution or a spray solution on a sponge to clean the exterior.
4. To clean the interior walls, use a damp cloth and a mild liquid soap solution or a spray solution on a sponge. Avoid using harsh abrasives or corrosive products, as they can damage the oven surface. Do not use Brillo pads or similar products on the interior of the oven.
5. To remove crumbs, slide out the crumb tray from the bottom front of the toaster oven broiler and discard the crumbs. Wipe the crumb tray clean and replace it. The crumb tray is dishwasher safe, so you can also clean it in the dishwasher if needed.
6. The wire rack, baking pan, and crumb tray are dishwasher safe. If heavily soiled, you can soak them in hot sudsy water or use a nylon scouring pad or nylon brush to clean them.
7. Never wrap the cord around the outside of the oven. Use the cord storage cleats on the back of the oven to keep the cord neat.
8. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
Remember to clean the top interior of the oven regularly, especially after cooking greasy foods. This will help keep the toasting consistent.
