AL-KO recommends regular servicing of your AL-KO ENDURO-X Independent Trailing Suspension to ensure optimal performance and longevity. As a minimum, it is recommended to service your suspension at the following intervals:
- Daily checks: Perform daily checks to ensure the trailer brakes are braking effectively and inflate the tires to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Initial checks: Within the first 100-1000km, perform initial checks and wheel alignment inspection.
- Periodic maintenance: Every 5000km or 6 months, perform periodic maintenance, including checking wheel nuts, inspecting wheel rims for damage, inspecting wheel bearings and cups for wear or damage, adjusting brake lining wear, checking suspension mounting bolts and shock absorber mounting bolts for torque specifications, visually checking shock absorbers for leaks, inspecting suspension bushes for impact damage, and visually checking wheel alignment for uneven tire wear.
- 1st Service: At 5000km, perform the 1st service, which includes all the periodic maintenance tasks mentioned above.
- 2nd Service: At 10,000km, perform the 2nd service, which includes all the periodic maintenance tasks mentioned above.
- Subsequent services: After the 2nd service, it is recommended to service your suspension at least once every 10,000km.
Please note that the maintenance frequency mentioned above is applicable for normal road usage. If the vehicle undergoes extreme or abnormal off-road usage, then periodic maintenance should be more frequent, and frequent visual inspection of parts is recommended.
