To connect the Sharp HT-SB100 soundbar to your TV, you have several options depending on the available ports on your TV:
1. HDMI ARC: If your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port, you can connect the soundbar to it using an HDMI cable. Simply connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar and the other end to the HDMI ARC port on your TV. Make sure to enable the ARC function in your TV settings.
2. Optical: If your TV has an optical audio output, you can connect the soundbar to it using an optical cable. Remove the protective cap from the optical input jack on the soundbar, then connect one end of the optical cable to the TV's optical output and the other end to the soundbar's optical input.
3. AUX: If your TV has a headphone jack or RCA audio output, you can connect the soundbar to it using a 3.5mm to RCA or 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable. Connect one end of the cable to the TV's audio output and the other end to the soundbar's AUX input.
Once the connection is made, select the corresponding input mode (HDMI ARC, Optical, or AUX) on the soundbar using the remote control or the buttons on the unit. Adjust the volume on the soundbar and your TV to your desired level.
