2. Remove the water supply cap and empty any remaining water from the supply tank.

4. Fill the supply tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let the solution sit in the tank for about 15 minutes to dissolve any buildup.
5. After 15 minutes, empty the vinegar-water solution from the tank.
6. Rinse the supply tank thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining vinegar residue.
7. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or stains.
