To clean the COMFEE CEKG001 Glass Electric Tea Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
2. Do not use chemical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners on the outside of the kettle, as they can scratch the surface and fade the color.
3. Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and the remainder with water. Let it stand for over 1 hour.
4. Empty the vinegar solution from the kettle and wipe off any remaining deposits with a damp cloth.
5. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring it to a boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this step if necessary.
6. If there are still deposits remaining, repeat the cleaning process several times.
7. Do not immerse the kettle in water. Instead, wipe the surface of the kettle with a damp cloth and polish it with a soft, dry cloth.
8. If needed, remove the scale filter by grasping the top and pulling it upwards. Wash the filter with clean water and dry it thoroughly before replacing it.
