To install the HOFTRONIC 4400125 Nola Dimmable Led Downlight, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the AC/Mains power is NOT connected and cannot be unexpectedly reconnected during installation.
2. This product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the provided instructions and in compliance with recognized electrical and safety regulations relevant to the country it is being installed.
3. Before carrying out the installation, check and verify that the total load on the circuit, including the rating of the cable, fuse, and/or circuit breaker, is not exceeded.
4. Before commencing installation, check for electric cables, joists, pipes, or any other obstructions that could interfere with the downlight.
5. Select the desired position for the downlight, considering the clearances shown in the diagram. Cut a 65mm diameter hole in the ceiling.
6. Make the necessary connections for the mains supply to the push-fit terminal block, including an earth connection.
7. The connection box can be clipped into place on top of the fitting, allowing the fitting to be insulation coverable (IC rated). If the connection box is not clipped into the top of the fitting, for use in small voids, the fitting cannot be covered by insulation.
8. Hold the downlight and position the mounting springs in a vertical position. Insert the fitting into the aperture and release the springs to secure the downlight into the hole.
9. Restore the mains supply and ensure correct operation.
