To install the FIAMMA Vent F Pro Rooflight, follow these steps:
1. Decide where you want to install the rooflight and make a square hole of 40cm. The rooflight can be installed on roofs with a thickness between 28 and 55mm.
2. Seal the lower part of the external frame with a minimum width of 10mm using the recommended sealant: SIKALASTOMER-710 / THEROSTAT II / DEKALIN 1512.
3. Place the external frame in the opening hole, ensuring that the hinges are facing the front of the vehicle.
4. Place the inner frame and proceed with the installation of the rooflight using the supplied screws. Use Ø3.5x30mm screws for roof thickness between 28-44mm, and Ø3.5x45mm screws for roof thickness between 44-55mm. Tighten the screws to the recommended torque of Max 1.5Nm.
5. Install the mosquito screen using the supplied screws M4x12.
6. Insert the supplied pick springs into the inner frame, making sure they are placed in the proper seat.
7. Insert the hand wheel joint on the drive shaft of the opening mechanism.
8. Mount the roller blind frame by pressing it onto the inner frame and fixing the pick springs. Make sure the cover of the rooflight is perfectly closed and in the safety position, and that the hand wheel is in its seat. Remove the protective film from the cover, but avoid exposing the product to UV rays for too long.
