To connect the HOFTRONIC GU10 Smart Bulb to the Hoftronic Smart App, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Hoftronic Smart App: Scan the QR code provided in the manual or search for "Hoftronic Smart" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download and install the app.
2. Register and sign in to the Hoftronic Smart App: Open the app and follow the prompts to register a Hoftronic Smart account. You can enter your mobile number or email address to register. If you use a mobile number, you will receive a text message with a confirmation code to complete your account registration.
3. Add the lamp to the Hoftronic Smart App: On the "Home" page of the app, tap the "+" icon located on the top right corner. Choose "Lighting" and select your device type, which is "Light Source (BLE+Wi-Fi)" for the HOFTRONIC GU10 Smart Bulb. Follow the instructions in the app to connect the lamp.
4. Enter Wi-Fi password and connect: During the setup process, you will be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi password. Make sure your router, mobile device, and the smart bulb are as close as possible for a stable connection. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process.
5. Control the lamp: Once the lamp is successfully connected, it will appear in your device list within the app. You can now control the smart bulb from anywhere in the world using the app. Additionally, you can rename the lamp and group multiple lamps together for easier management.
Please note that it is recommended to have a qualified electrician install the fittings and ensure compliance with current wiring regulations. Always switch off the mains supply before installation.
