To install the Metra 95-3305 Double DIN Installation Multi Kit in your vehicle, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before beginning the installation, unless the vehicle manufacturer recommends against it. Check with your local dealership for more information.
2. Use the necessary tools, including a panel removal tool, Phillips screwdriver, 7mm & 10mm socket wrench, Torx driver, and Allen wrench.
3. Refer to the specific dash disassembly instructions provided in the manual for your vehicle model. The manual includes step-by-step instructions and diagrams for various vehicle models, such as Buick Lucerne, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Avalanche, GMC Yukon, Chevy Express, Suzuki XL-7, Chevy Equinox, Buick Enclave, Hummer H2, Chevrolet Captiva, and more.
4. After disassembling the dash, proceed to the kit assembly. The manual provides instructions for ISO DDIN radio provision, DIN radio provision with pocket, and ISO DIN radio provision with pocket. Follow the instructions and diagrams provided to assemble the kit correctly.
5. Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna connector in the dash and complete all necessary connections to the radio. The manual recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Make sure to reconnect the negative battery terminal and test the radio for proper operation.
6. Finally, reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.
