To install the HOFTRONIC 5422324 12V Non-Dimmable Driver, please follow these steps:
1. Switch off the power group before starting the installation.
2. Connect the transformer to a 230V power source (INPUT). The cable blue (N) should be connected to the neutral wire, and the cable brown (L) should be connected to the live wire.
3. Connect the INPUT of the transformer to an on/off switch or a power cord for fixed mains current.
4. If the transformer will be installed outdoors, it must be placed in a water/moisture-resistant housing (ART. NO. 396302 or 4409418). Note that the recessed spots can only be used in a covered area.
5. If you want to use a wall switch, follow the installation instructions provided in the manual.
6. Ensure that the product is mounted by a qualified person and that all activities are performed with the power supply disconnected.
7. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power before using the product for the first time.
8. The product can only be used indoors.
9. For maintenance work, make sure to cut off the power supply and allow the product to cool down. Clean the product with soft and dry cloths, avoiding the use of chemical detergents. Do not cover the product and ensure free air access.
10. The product should only be used with the rated voltage or within the provided voltage range. Do not use the product if the protective cover is damaged.
11. The product should not be used in unfavorable conditions such as dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes.
12. The product is non-demountable and not suitable for independent repairs.
13. Dispose of the product properly by following local regulations for waste electronic and electrical equipment. Contact local authorities or sellers for information on collection centers.
14. Failure to follow the instructions may result in fire, burns, electrical shock, physical injury, and other damages.
