To connect the GENIO unit to other audio devices, follow these steps:
1. Make sure all devices are turned off or on standby before making any connections.
2. For balanced mono inputs (IN1 and IN2), use either the XLR combo connectors or the Euroblock connectors. Connect the live or direct signal to Terminal 2 or Tip, and the cold or inverted signal to Terminal 3 or Centre ring. Connect the ground to Terminal 1 or Base.
3. For unbalanced stereo inputs (IN3 and IN4), use either the RCA connectors or the minijack connector. Connect the left (L) and right (R) channels to the white and red RCA connectors, respectively.
4. If you need to provide phantom power to microphones connected to inputs 1 and 2, turn on the PHANTOM INPUT 1&2 switch.
5. Connect the main output (OUT A/B) to your desired audio device using the Euroblock connectors.
6. If you want to transmit the audio signal to another remote GENIO unit, connect the TX output to the remote unit's RX input using a CAT5 cable or higher.
7. If you want to receive audio signal from another remote GENIO unit, connect the RX input to the remote unit's TX output using a CAT5 cable or higher.
8. Make sure to configure the SRC and MODE switches on the GENIO unit according to your desired output configuration.
9. Once all connections are made, power on the GENIO unit and the connected audio devices.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams on making the connections.
