To connect the AUTOPHIX 3210 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner to your vehicle and device, please follow these steps:
1. Download and install the "OBDMate" app on your device. For iOS, search for "OBDMate" in the App Store and install it. For Android, search for "OBDMate" in Google Play and install it. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the user guide to download the app.
2. Connect the AUTOPHIX 3210 to your vehicle. If you have the car key, turn it to the "ON" position or start the vehicle, then plug the 3210 into the OBD2 port. If you don't have the car key, there are two methods:
- Method 1: Press the start button (without stepping on the brakes), then press again to power up the dashboard. Plug the 3210 into the OBD2 port.
- Method 2: Step on the brakes, press the start button to start the vehicle, and plug the 3210 into the OBD2 port.
3. Locate the diagnostic link connector (DLC) in your vehicle. The DLC is usually found on the driver's side, under the dash. The exact location may vary depending on the vehicle model. Please refer to the user guide for possible DLC locations.
4. Connect the AUTOPHIX 3210 to your device using Bluetooth. For iOS, open the Control Center and enable Bluetooth. Then open the "OBDMate" app and connect to the 3210. For Android, turn on Bluetooth in your phone's system settings, and then connect to the AUTOPHIX 3210. Use the "OBDMate" app to establish the connection. If prompted for a password, enter "0000" or "1234".
