To pair the HOFTRONIC SR-2833N-Z5 5 Zone Remote RF Dimmer Controller with the RF receiver, follow these steps:
Step 1: Wire the RF receiver according to the wiring diagram provided in the instruction manual of the RF receiver you want to pair with.
Step 2: Press the "Learning Key" button on the RF receiver or power cycle the receiver three times continuously to set it into pairing mode.
Step 3: Choose one zone on the remote control and press the "I" or "O" button for that zone (e.g., zone 2). The LED lights connected to the RF receiver will flicker once, indicating that the receiver is successfully paired with zone 2.
Note: Each receiver can be paired with a maximum of 8 remote controls.
If you are using multiple receivers, you have two options:
Option 1: Have all the receivers in the same zone, such as zone 1.
Option 2: Have each receiver in a different zone, such as zone 1, zone 2, zone 3, zone 4, and zone 5. By using the different zone buttons on the remote control, you can easily control the different zones. You can also choose to switch on one or more zones and switch off the others using the main button.
