To connect multiple monitors to the TECHly IUSB31C-DOCK12DPHD USB-C 12-In-1 Docking Station, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your laptop supports DP ALT mode on the USB-C™ port for video output.
2. Connect the docking station to your laptop's USB-C™ port.
3. The docking station is plug-and-play, so there is no need to install any drivers or settings.
4. Plug the monitors into the video output ports on the docking station. You can connect up to three monitors in extension or mirroring mode.
5. If you are using VGA or HDMI cables, make sure they are passive cables without a chipset or signal converter.
6. The resolution of the monitors will depend on the specific interface used. HDMI supports 4K resolution, while VGA supports 1080P resolution.
7. If you are connecting two video output interfaces at the same time, the resolution will be limited to 1080P for both monitors.
8. Please note that the MST (Multi-Stream Transport) function, which allows for simultaneous use of three monitors, depends on the graphics card, operating system, and monitor being used.
