To connect the Ecler GPA2-400ES amplifier to your speakers, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the amplifier is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Identify the output section on the rear panel of the amplifier. It features both Speakon connectors and Euroblock connectors.
3. In STEREO mode, each channel takes the signal from its corresponding input. In MONO/BRIDGE mode, the signal is taken from INPUT CH1 only.
4. If you want to operate the amplifier in BRIDGED mode, place the "ST/MONO" switch in the MONO position.
5. Connect the input signal using the channel 1 connector (XLR or Euroblock) and the speaker output using the "CH1" Speakon terminals 1+ and 2- and/or BRIDGE labeled terminals on the Euroblock output connector.
6. Make sure to use the appropriate terminals for the selected mode (STEREO or MONO/BRIDGE) to ensure optimal audio quality.
7. Ensure that the resulting load impedance of the installation is never below 5.3Ω when operating in BRIDGED mode.
8. Use high-quality, shielded cables to connect the amplifier outputs to the speakers. The cable should have a sufficient section and be as short as possible for optimal performance.
