To set up and use the ARDESTO CHH-2000MBR Electric Convector, follow these steps:
1. Safety Requirements: Before connecting the convector to the power supply, visually check the power cord and the convector for mechanical damage. If there are damages, contact an authorized service center for repair. Disconnect the convector from the power supply during maintenance and wet cleaning. Do not use the convector near bathtubs, showers, or swimming pools, and avoid using it in rooms with high humidity.
2. Installation: Place the convector on a flat, steady surface using the supporting legs provided. Make sure the legs are properly installed.
3. Power Supply: Ensure that your home mains voltage corresponds to the device operating voltage (220-240 V ~ 50-60 Hz). Insert the power plug into an outlet.
4. Operation: Before switching the device on, make sure the operation mode switch (labeled "I/O/II") is in the "0" position (device switched off). Turn the thermostat control xxxx fully clockwise to the maximum setting. Set the operation mode switch to either "I" (minimum heating power - 1250 W) or "II" (maximum heating power - 2000 W) depending on your desired heating level.
5. Thermostat Control: Once the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat control xxxx anti-clockwise until it clicks off and the lights on the element switches go out. The convector will automatically maintain the set temperature by switching on and off.
6. Overheating Protection: The convector has an overheating protection system that automatically turns off the heater if it overheats. If this happens, wait for about 15 minutes for the convector to cool down before using it again.
7. Cleaning and Care: Before cleaning, disconnect the convector from the power supply and let it cool down. Clean the convector grids from dust using a brush and a vacuum cleaner. Wipe the outer surface of the convector with a damp cloth and then dry it. Do not immerse the convector body, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquids.
